“Medium ruby red with highlights of deep purple. On the nose, aromas of summer berries gain complexity from hints of red cherries, wild strawberries and subtle rose petals. On the palate, earthy layers between nuances of warm spice and cherry, give way to a long, silky finish”
Head Winemaker, Daniel Cosman

Waiting and watching for the perfect moment, harvest begins before the heavy rains come in late October. When the Pinot Noir grapes are supple, berries evenly coloured, and stems and seeds lignified, the clusters are ready to be handpicked from the vines and gently pressed to extract their sweet juice. After two years of careful ageing, Unsworth Vineyards very first Pinot Noir vintage is finally ready.

Perfect on its own or as an accompaniment to chicken, duck or sausage meats.  For an elegant affair, try serving it with a savoury wild mushroom and peppercorn pâté, medium to hard cheeses, and fruits of figs, blueberries and dried cherries. Serve at room temperature, drink now through 2018
